A "Celebrity Waiter" Dinner and silent auction to benefit the American Heart Association was held at StarView Vineyards on August 13. Many local businesses contributed to making this inaugural dinner a success. Union County Hospital employees organized the event, which served 45 guests from the local community. Through advanced ticket sales, donations and tips to the "celebrity" waiters, $1550 was raised for the AHA. Eli Tellor and LaShonna Pinnon provided musical entertainment while guests enjoyed dinner catered by C-Infinity. The wait-staff included: Jim Farris, CEO, Pete Wories, Director of Radiology, and Dr. Michael Kaye – all from Union County Hospital. They were joined by Angi Bunch, and Bob and Bev Bolanowski. The six provided antics and entertainment throughout the evening while serving dinner. Their efforts, energy, and good nature were very much appreciated.
